Officieel is de Tongelreep in Gennep de grens tussen de stadsdelen Gestel en Stratum. O.a. het Jan Louwersstadion, Nationaal Zwemstadion De Tongelreep en de wereldberoemde waterbollen staan dus aan de Stratumse kant.
Ik weet niet of deze grens altijd precies zo geweest is.

Wel leuk trouwens dat op dit kaartje de Gestelse Boys nog aangegeven staan. Voordat ze samengingen met aartsrivaal Veloc ging ik er regelmatig kijken. Nu zijn de velden die voorheen van de Gestelse Boys waren eigendom van EVV, de amateurs van FC Eindhoven.
