De Boschdijktunnel was al in gebruik en de Fellenoord afgesloten voor het verkeer. De oude overweg was nog in gebruik, zie de wachtende auto's onderaan de foto. Voetgangers en sommige fietsers negeerden die afsluiting van de Fellenoord als ze richting Broekseweg of Kruisstraat wilden.
